Pros

The good thing about Barclays everything is remote so you get to work from the comfort of your home. I love working remotely because it gives me the flexibility to travel and do day to day activities. Working in the call center can be interesting at times it just depends on the day.

Cons

I work at the Wilmington location and it is VERY DISORGANIZED! From Day 1, I was given the incorrect equipment and training was terrible because we were given outdated information during training plus new policies were being inforced everyday which made the job even harder. I'm overworked and underpaid Barclays pay is very low for the amount of work we have to do. I'm basically working multiple roles with my customer service position in the Care department. Barclays is desperate for employees so that's why there constantly hiring I regret working for this company because its truly been a nightmare. Management is rude and trash. Very clueless individuals who don't know anything about the job. I swear I would NEVER recommend anybody working at Barclays because they don't care about their employees.

Cons

Pay is the lowest compared to similar company with the same role. Upper management speaks to staff with a patronizing tone; cutting them off, and talking down to them. At times it felt like they purposefully were attempting to find things wrong instead of working together as a team to meet objectives. Understaffed. Fully expected to do the work of a team of 6 despite being a team of 2 for example.
