Pros

Coworkers are great, team leaders are great as well.

Cons

Compensation is poor. If you stay within the company and move roles, expect to only get a 2-5% increase (if even) in salary regardless of what the new role's base pay is. Even then, do not expect to see an increase in your salary 6months to a year later. The ability to transition from the Support umbrella to any other business in Bloomberg is almost slim to none. It is advertised that Support is the "stepping stone" into Bloomberg as a company, but what is left unsaid is that only 1 in 150~ employees actually are able to transition. HR is completely unaware of what the team they are in charge of do. Worse, HR is held in almost universal contempt by all entry level positions within Support as all attempts to work with HR to develop their careers are met with either silence or apathy.
