Pros
The beginning is usually great, despite low-to-mid pay and the benefits. People can be fun, they are usually young and positive, that is, as long as they just started with the company.
Cons
The more you progress, the more you'll learn about people behind their roles and the politics between departments, and it's not always pretty. There will often be secrets and half-information, and the transparency is lacking. After the steep learning curve, everyday work can get rather repetitive and boring. Different departments are not communicating well and love to play the blame game.
