This place is a corporate machine now. Whatever organic grassroots working environment this place was founded upon has been dead for years now. Only those who can maneuver this place Game of Thrones still can reap the money and glory here. Those who simply work hard to produce a ton will be worked into the ground in exchange for.....more work. Plenty of people here are fake/disingenuous and exhibit a certain political bias. Those who do not fit that bias will be ostracized here, FYI.
Bonuses are taxed at 50 percent so despite handing two a year, they are taxed heavy. Industry pay is dirt and lots of architects work long unpaid overtime hours which will devalue their labor in the long run.
Finally. There is ZERO work life balance, 5 days a week in the office only, unless again you've politically maneuvered your way into a cushy set up, and they have zero intent on reducing that obligation. Stay away from this place. And they layoff frequently.
