Pros
Diverse and local-based benefits: Covering from really good health insurance to good things-to-have like discounts in local supermarkets, gym (online programs and alliances with local brands). Good initiatives (at least in LATAM) that support people entering into the software engineering world, such as code your future (w/Acamica) or bootcamp programs.
Cons
Salary is lower than what expected from US-based companies, no matter what seniority you have. Not well defined career path once a person has reached a medium/high seniority, particularly if your target is not related to management but technical aspects.
