Pros

Direct service staff are generally very nice.

Cons

CEO is an ego-maniac. Turn over is so fast your head spins. This chapter of Goodwill does not really provide any of the mission-driven programs that other chapters do- they closed down their disabled training programs, and basically claim that those they do employ at minimum wage, and horrible benefits are benefiting "mission services." In fact, they went on a buying spree of other true local non-profit organizations that really do provide mission driven services and then claim their clients as those served by Goodwill. Nepotism at the highest levels including C-Suite staff family members, Board Chair's son, etc. Executive team salaries are significantly over inflated (CEO increased from approx $80K to over $500K in less than 7 years), but most employees can survive on their wages and must take other jobs as well.
