Pros

Some staff can receive promotions. So many jobs available!

Cons

Turnover is huge. The CEO of our organization is aloof (not Jim Gibbons, our local organization). Pays more attention to the retail end of things unless it's time for the cameras to roll. He doesn't really pay attention to staff ideas, unless it's upper management. The benefits are poor. Several of the staff in social services are so worn out when they leave it's really sad. They pour their heart and soul into their work and they are not appreciated for the work they do.

Pros

Great pay, good team, flexibility and decent work

Cons

Dusty sometimes and some of the stuff can be gross but that's just part of working at a thrift store, having to handle that stuff

Pros

Having a set schedule every week with 2 days off in a row Goodwill scholarship program is fantastic lots of career advice and support giving back to the community

Cons

Working weekends, nights, and holidays The customers are so rude Management says one thing but then caves to the customers which undermines the employees so many exchanges the clientele rude people the customers
