Pros

There use to be a ton. Parental benefits, equity, fun place to work, and nice coworkers where you didnt compete with each other. Not anymore. 4 years ago I use to be so proud to tell people where I worked (and I came from Deloitte), its the opposite today.

Cons

After Seth sold our 100 year old company to PE its been terrible. I mean the worst. Added MD layer. No more care.com support for parents. Shapiro has destroyed the culture. Way harder targets (Pursuits use to be collaborative, not its zero-sum thanks to the changes in Insight). Forced return to office - for zero reason no on on my team is in the office. Oh and the cheery on top? They are literally moving as many American jobs as possible to India. I have been in consulting a long time - if you are young and talented I would strongly suggest to stay away (like far away).

Pros

Some folks are great to work with. Some of the leaders really do care.

Cons

Workday practice is a total mess. They have trouble selling work and hours are much lower than they should be so consultants end up spread very thin across multiple projects and still can't hit utilization targets on paper even if they are working very hard in actuality. The independence requirements are insane!! If I had known I would have to disclose all of my investments and be told wha t I am or am not allowed to invest money in I would not have taken the job. Independence is total hell and most consulting firms don't subject employees to those invasive requirements.
