While we can’t discuss individual cases, we would like to clarify that promotions at Henkel are based on performance and potential, through fair and structured process. Disciplinary actions are held seriously, but they are not held against an individual permanently – employees can grow and demonstrate improvement. Participation in our workstreams (our employee resource groups) is voluntary and not a factor in promotion, but they play an important role in fostering sense of community, building networks, and providing employees opportunities to hone their leadership, collaboration and project management skills.
