Pros

Colleagues are awesome, some of the management team really care about the people. HR benefits used to be decent. Honestly, a very good company in many aspects. However, the one star is for the HR team.

Cons

Singapore HR benefits going downhill since 2022, new HR team has been making unfavorable changes to the benefits. The latest change penalises the sales and technical team by removing fuel claims and adding a minuscule amount (which they refuse to disclose how this was derived) to the car allowance. The irony is that management team who gets the car allowance as part of management benefits but does not use it as tools of trade, now gets to enjoy extra money for their car allowance, but sales and tech who have to use car for work, are no longer allowed to claim fuel without reasonable compensation. HR disguises removal/reduction of benefits by being unclear in policy explanations and using phrases like market practice, Mercer data, management decision to shut down any discussion.
