Pros
The people who work at IPA are talented, passionate and always willing to help you out. You have a very steep learning curve here, so the experience will be great for your future career. You get to work on really interesting projects!
Cons
The benefits are not that good, and salaries are low compared to other NGOs. The workload is pretty extreme, so especially in higher positions you have to work much more than a standard 40 hour work week. There is no good compensation mechanism for this (no paid overtime), and there is often nobody who can step in and help you out.
