      Johnson Controls higher management is not from IT background and I strongly believe they are not able to execute the projects very well. There is so much politics, if you are in good books and doing what management says and then you will get paid well. Its a difficuilt to survive for someone who comes from IT service industry, they are way off the processes. Onsite is close to none, they give perdiums even if you go long term onsite which is only for short term business visit. Higher management cuts team estimates in half so you have to extend weekdays and weekends to cover up and then you end up delivering bad quality product.

      Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

      Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
