Pros

With only a few exceptions the people here are great.

Cons

Its common for the company to only do two annual raises every 3 years by pushing several of them out by 6 months at a time. This has been constant over the past 7 years so expect it to continue. Work and responsibilities are independent of title so you could be doing work well above your pay grade. The promotions recently have been for MUCH lower percentages and amounts than 5 years ago. There is a large disconnect between R&D and other departments which cause them to push completely unrealistic timelines and schedules and then get upset when they had no chance of being met. Base pay is low (10-25k below state avg) and we've had trouble for several years hiring new talent, because so few people will accept the terrible pay. It likely won't change until people start leaving, and even then it'll just lead to those that stay behind getting more work and new hires still not coming in.
