Pros

Great people in the department, some of the nicest people I've ever worked with Good for entry level training They hire from a wide range of experience and backgrounds

Cons

Pay and benefits are not remotely competitive, the healthcare benefits are even worse now because they didn't increase to match rising costs of the health plan they offer. When workers complained about this they were given tips about how to reduce their insurance coverage to save costs. Serious disconnect between senior leadership and workers. They are all about promoting a new way of working, which is essentially forcing people back into the office for hybrid working at minimum, without acknowledging the fact that there is a serious attrition issue already and most competitors are offering more flexible working arrangements with better pay and benefits; many people prefer WFH and productivity increased massively; rising cost of fuel; no change to staff parking costs for hybrid workers even though they have years to plan for it at this stage. You really get the feeling that they just don't care about workers.

Pros

Great employees, people, and pay. Excellent 401k match

Cons

Nothing, slow moving upper management but that’s at every large company

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
