We understand that you have a negative take on how MSCI supports employees to ‘fit in’ to the culture. For the past few years, we have focused our annual engagement survey to better understand what areas and behaviors require greater effort from our managers to create a positive, highly engaged culture within their teams and the overall company. Our results have paid off -- engagement has increased by 50% since 2011. 90% of employees who responded to our engagement survey in 2017 would recommend MSCI as a firm to do business with; 86% of employees are proud to work at MSCI and 82% of employees would recommend working at the firm, up 3% from 2016.
Committed to increasing employee engagement and retention, and in response to feedback from our engagement survey, MSCI created the Accelerate Leadership Development Program and the Experienced Manager Program to support the growth of managers and leaders at the Firm.
Employees are also able to participate in multiple offerings to build relationships with colleagues and leaders in formal and informal settings. Activities include our Connect NY mentoring program, Fireside Chats with leaders, and regular town halls. In 2017 we hosted a career panel, book discussions groups, happy hour with the Executive Committee, Fun Day and our new Service Award Recognition Program.
