Pros

The recruiter was nice, but that's about the only positive thing I can think of about the company.

Cons

Program manager/site lead and higher make racially and sexually offensive comments not only in front of other employees but on client site in front of the customer/client. They discuss confidential personnel details out in the open in front of employees who do not have the "need to know." Saw and heard about several complaints to HR, and those complaints were swept under the rug. Contract management has trouble saying "no" to the customer when customer requested things outside of scope and that were not outlined in statement of work. Management also told employees they must work additional hours and not charge/bill the additional time on time reporting website.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
