Pros

All-remote positions plus corporate "Global Flex/Global Tourist" (work from anywhere) program.

Cons

The Ex-IBM head of marketing brought in an all-IBM middle management tier who all know seem to think and act like they're still at Big Blue. So - there is lots of heavy-handed micromanaging going on, and some fwork is being farmed out to these long-favored relationship agencies. So, opportunities to grow and advance have dried up. The company has grown by acquisition and the acquired companies are usually partially or not at all integrated, so operating processes across the company are painfully slow, broken, or outdated and incomplete.

Myself, and the entire leadership team at Syntax, have an open-door policy when it comes to sharing feedback and welcome constructive dialogue. Syntax has been growing quickly and that includes scaling our teams both with external talent as well as with promotions and challenges for our incredible internal talent. Should you wish to talk about any ideas or concerns regarding working at Syntax, please feel free to reach out to any member of the leadership team or People and Culture team. Thanks, Dessalen Wood CPO
