- You will lose your variable pay of 4 months no matter on which day you resign and leave the company since variable pay is paid half yearly (H1 and H2). H1 is January - June and H2 is July - December. Variable pay of H1 is paid along with October salary and that of H2 is paid along with April salary. In addition, if you are not present on company's payroll on the last working day of October/April, you will not get any variable pay for the recently completed half year at all.
