Pros

Unfortunately, there is are no pros

Cons

I have worked for mid-size and large IT corporations in USA for last 20 years. All other corporations were better than UST Global. I worked for UST USA and UST India. I would strongly recommend NOT to work for this company. I would rather be unemployed than working for this company so that I retain my sanity. Here are my comments: 1) The UST Global does not care about retaining good employees 2) Management would commit to benefits but will NOT fulfill them all the time even though it is clearly mentioned in the offer letter. They do this will lot of employees in UST India. Probably not in USA because of the labor laws. 3) Managers seldom appreciate your hard work in USA and India. 4) Managers expect you to work off hours without pay. Client meetings at odd hours is a requirement of the job so I did not have a concern attending meetings during non-working hours but if you are on PTO for personal reason, manager expects you to keep checking work e-mails periodically from webmail and respond to team member's queries. 5) No courtesies and politeness from management Overall, they have a very hostile work environment. Working for UST Global was the biggest mistake of my life.

Pros

The company is already shifting from services to products and platforms business, with the CEO driving the change directly. This transition is visible and is steep. The upside to this transformation is the company already creating meaningful opportunities for people to grow new skills and take on more strategic and value-added work. The key is to lean in and make full use of the resources available, including client universities, hack-a-thons, ideathons, and skill transformation programs, to stay ahead. For internal talent, the opportunities in product, platform development, and consulting are abundant, across both existing offerings and new solutions.

Cons

the organization is going through a painful transition unlike anything it has experienced in its 26-year history; while this change is necessary to win in the market, stronger support through the transition is an area where the company can improve and focus.
