Pros

Pros for Bangalore office: 1.You will usually work at client location so you don't need to go to ust offices. They have clients like NetApp, Intel, Cisco, Merck, Walmart, Amadeus, Phillips (All good product companies). You will get to see from the inside how these companies function and the calibre of people over ther which can be inspiring at times and a good learning experience overall. 2. They have 2 months of notice period so they usually won't lay you off suddenly if the contract with client expires. They let you stay for 2 months on bench and after that your 2 month notice period may start based on individual case so that you have atleast 4 months to find new projects in the company or outside. Even if you are being made to serve notice period, hr will try to find opportunities for you and you can apply for internal position so they can revoke notice if you find something suitable. 3. They may pay more than an infosys or tcs if you are talented enough and negotiate properly. 4. If you don't work at prestige Shantiniketan office, you don't have to worry about maintaining 9 hrs or whatever everyday. So timing is usually flexible.

Cons

These are the cons I found while working in Bangalore location: 1. Their projects are usually for working as contract workers at client location. So you are at the mercy of the client in regards to all amenities like even a desk. There may be little to no contact with other ust employees based on client and you may not work with your ust manager at all... 2. There is no clear understanding of whom to approach for anything within the company if you end up working at client locations because you have very little visibility of what happens in your own company. You don't know who the HR is, whom to contact for payroll etc. 3. If you are on bench in Bangalore, your office is a seperate location (Prestige Feather lite) than the main office(Prestige Shantiniketan). Only people on bench are available here. So it agains fosters this feeling that you are not really a part of the company. 4. In the One and a half year I was there, their appraisal cycles kept moving around so it was very confusing as to when I would get my incentive. 5. Even if you are on bench you have to serve full notice period. You will get the salary for these 2 months as full and final settlement instead of how it's usually done where only the last month salary is in f&f settlement.

Pros

I have been associated with UST for almost 12 years, starting my journey as a Tester and currently serving as a Senior Project Manager. Looking back, the growth opportunities provided by the organization have been remarkable. One of the biggest strengths of UST is its people-first culture. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in employee success. Throughout my career, I have received continuous encouragement to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and move into leadership roles. The company places significant emphasis on employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development. I have had opportunities to work across different domains, engage with global clients, and grow both technically and managerially. What makes UST special is the trust it places in its employees and the collaborative culture that exists across teams. It’s a place where dedication and performance are recognized, and individuals are given opportunities to shape their own career paths

Cons

As with any large organization, some processes could be streamlined for faster decision-making.
