Pros

A huge space, 1000s of ppl, quite glitzy from the outside.

Cons

They offer you a poor package initially promising to correct it based on performance. But performance reviews never happen. You have to literally beg with your manager for a review and when it happens, they don't even know what to say. That promised pay correction never happens.... Culture and values seem great...but they aren't because no one at the top level is willing to listen to you. They ask for suggestions but once suggested those suggestions find a place in the recycle bin. They claim to make great profits but their compensations are pathetic. Diversity and inclusion wise, the Trivandrum office is infested with toooooooo many mallus. And what's worse ? They all talk to each other in their regional language....so even in meetings you have malayalam flying across the room and it gets so annoying especially when you don't belong to that state. Senior management has cozied up up the 9th floor. That is their den.....they never bother to come down to ground level and talk to the rest of the folks. At lunch tables and coffee tables, you will see all management folks eating together....they only say hello to people of their kind...the rest seem to be invisible to them. Work life balance... is there if you draw the line....

Pros

I have been associated with UST for almost 12 years, starting my journey as a Tester and currently serving as a Senior Project Manager. Looking back, the growth opportunities provided by the organization have been remarkable. One of the biggest strengths of UST is its people-first culture. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in employee success. Throughout my career, I have received continuous encouragement to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and move into leadership roles. The company places significant emphasis on employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development. I have had opportunities to work across different domains, engage with global clients, and grow both technically and managerially. What makes UST special is the trust it places in its employees and the collaborative culture that exists across teams. It’s a place where dedication and performance are recognized, and individuals are given opportunities to shape their own career paths

Cons

As with any large organization, some processes could be streamlined for faster decision-making.
