Pros

Good hearted folks at the lower part of the organization hierarchy Still a startup type company where you get to learn from mistakes made by many people in the organization.

Cons

Very very poor compensation Hikes have been delayed for more than a year At US client locations you do not grow technically High attrition due to which loss of talent and hence loss of quality in deliverables. That makes job more challenging for client facing team members. Company growth widely dependent on only one major client and right now loosing out many projects in that as well. So not good to work for long term The values initially set up by late founder are now seeming to be lost which is very demotivating Not much value given to people who are stil sticking to the company Talking to HRs is waste of time.. for any action required by them you need t follow up like 100 times Lot of bureaucracy Nepotism Probably too much focus on going public to having higher cash balance Difficult to have work life balance Lack of effective communication from management

Pros

I have been associated with UST for almost 12 years, starting my journey as a Tester and currently serving as a Senior Project Manager. Looking back, the growth opportunities provided by the organization have been remarkable. One of the biggest strengths of UST is its people-first culture. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in employee success. Throughout my career, I have received continuous encouragement to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and move into leadership roles. The company places significant emphasis on employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development. I have had opportunities to work across different domains, engage with global clients, and grow both technically and managerially. What makes UST special is the trust it places in its employees and the collaborative culture that exists across teams. It’s a place where dedication and performance are recognized, and individuals are given opportunities to shape their own career paths

Cons

As with any large organization, some processes could be streamlined for faster decision-making.
