      Decent Place to Launch a Career, but Probably Not to Finish

      Pros

      Great co-workers, good benefits, requires relatively little stress

      Cons

      Unbelievably low salary, 35k or less. I don't live in California or New York so it's tolerable, but I sure hope they pay their employees better in those places. The levels of promotion goes something like Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager. As far as I know, Accounting Supervisors don't even make over 65k (but tenure does affect it a bit).

      Pros

      I have had great experiences working with the people at Enterprise. Despite the recent layoffs, job security is very high. Typically there are many opportunities for career progression. Overall Benefits are pretty good. The company has strong founding values, that it does uphold. IT is currently going through an efficiency evolution, meaning groups that once had very specific responsibilities are earning many more responsibilities (IT groups are merging together). -More responsibilities means, more skill sets you have. -Companay does reword hard work and recognizes good employees

      Cons

      It's more about what management thinks you know rather than what you know. New compensation package does not reward current employee's that are progressing and excelling.(Although this seems to be more of a temporary solution survive the tough conditons) Currently opportunities are low due to staffing restrictions from upper management.

      Pros

      great people fun work environment looks good on a resume

      Cons

      long hours little pay to many politics when it comes to being promoted wash a lot of cars and are required to wear shirt and tie
