      Ineffective approach to Lead Generation

      Good brand, product and location

      Cons

      High volume, call centre approach to finding leads. Maybe works for B2C but not Enterprise Software. Because of this, rushed and unqualified leads passed to field team, resulting in poor sales and general negative criticism towards the team. Worst commission plan I have seen for a inside sales software role and no career progression.

      Pros

      The people at Epicor are great. There are certain departments that are well run but others that are a disaster. The cafteria area is nice and the building is generally in good shape and clean. Location is good if you live in the West-Island already (for Montreal office). Benefits package is pretty good.

      Cons

      -Avoid any job in the Professional services department. They want you to work free overtime every week. They grade all their employees based on the billable work they do - which is out of the employees control. -Limited flexibility and the company's work-life balance philosophy is regressing. -Company is not on the cutting edge of technology. Many products still run on old languages and they are forced to maintain them. -A lot of employees have been there for many years which means advancing for new employees or younger employees is near impossible.
