Pros

Flexibility with scheduling was good at first. Job security is pretty good, of all the people who no longer work here, only 1 got fired and this is out of about 12 people who left within the last year or two.

Cons

Training is awful as in almsot non existent. Pay is terrible for the amount of work you are expected to do. Benefits are quite expensive and not very good as they were one year ago. Management is incompentent and never want to pull their weight or help out with scheduling gaps. Seniority means almost nothing where I work and they will change your schedule at the drop of a hat and not even tell you about it until they call and ask where you are. Too many audits and changes made on a weekly basis. Every other week it seemed we are being audited and you are expected to have eveything freakishly clean. Customers are also completely terrible to the staff. They will call you names, insult you and expect you to do everything for them without even trying to attempt it themselves.

Pros

Fedex office offers opportunities for those who are seeking to advance. There are well defined career paths and outlined processes to achieve growth goals.

Cons

The growth rate with the company (for top performers) is very fast. "High Potential" team members can outgrow the company withing 2 years. All Team members are overwhelmed with responsibilities with not enough time and help to complete the tasks at hand.

Pros

There are lots of promotion opportunities as well as different branches within FedEx Office to move to. Can relocate anywhere in the U.S. without to much trouble.

Cons

Can be very stressful. There is little to no feedback from management on job performance. Training for new hire employees does not scratch the surface of what needs to be known to work in the store. Pay is low in store for the amount of knowledge needed to work in most positions.
