Pros

Discounted shipping for employees is nice.

Cons

The Senior Manager and Assistant Senior Manager treat the Sort, Area and Operations Managers like dirt. They are condescending, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. Verbal abuse from the two of them is over the top.

Pros

Freedom Outside of the Station Health Benefits 401 K Sick Time Vacation Personal Days

Cons

Management across the board is absolutely horrible. Micro management is the name of the game here. They constantly change policies. One day you do something and it's fine, the next day your looking at a write up. We get sick days, than when you use them you are lambasted for it. Most days I go to work sick because I have a fear of using my sick leave. I have been told to do some extremely shady things to save managements butt, but it will and always does bite you back. You really have to pick and choose what's worth it here. Kind of a shame really. You honestly can't say no. Favoritism comes into play at this job. It's extremely unfortunate. FedEx has changed over the years, and I honestly feel if they don't start looking at things internally FedEx will take a nose dive.

Pros

Part-Time short hours. Working with great people. The managers are super great and don't yell at you like at UPS where it's always Managers vs. Union-Employees. No strict dress code. Part-time health benefits after 1000 hours, financial benefits after 90 days of employment.

Cons

No over-time and they do not have lockers indoor. You have to leave your cell phone in your car or in an outside locker. So if family wants to call you, they have to call the FedEx locations hotline. Which sucks. No discount on Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You have to buy the stocks at full price only fees are paid by the firm.
