Pros

Amazing brand and products. The people who work here incredibly talented, passionate about their jobs and the quality of the products. The company is making some exciting changes that I believe will re-inspire old and new musicians alike.

Cons

Business has been changing non stop for over 6 years. Have turned over 3 CEO's, each with different ideas what direction to take the company. There have been many rounds of layoffs and have lost some incredible talent. The "family" culture is almost completely gone. Most recently they have shifted the majority of business operations back to California, leaving many employees that have been with the company for 15+ years to relocate or succumb to forced resignations.

Out with the good, in with the bad...

Pros

Not very many pros to working for the company aside from seeing an occasional Artist's guitar or passing them in the hallway. The environment is very laid back and the long time employees always have something to teach you. Cool place to work.

Cons

You'd think working for a company who controls so much of the market shares would do more for there employees when it came to music, shows or events. Either had to be high up in the company or know someone really well to reap any of those benefits. Upper managements continuously changed and restructure of the company kept everyone on edge and in the dark. The firing of multiple 20+ year employees was the most discouraging to witness, especially when it was over a personal issue, not professional. People who poured their life's work into the company were let go without notice and treated poorly. Little room to move up in the company, starting salary was fair but non-negotiable, took a pay cut to work there.
