      Good Direct Manager - retired 4/2021.

      Upper Level Management a mess now. Large layoff recently. Happy I left, but looking to come out of retirement at Yamaha.

      Pros

      Loved working at Fender, awesome exposure to music history, some incredible people, and the gear of course.

      Cons

      Unless you were brought in at the top, you can feel how replaceable you are, was even told once by a senior recruiter when I was asking about a comp review.

      Chill work environment, not super formal.

      Cons

      Management asks for too much a lot of the time and I saw upped management go off or yell at other managers from time to time.
