Pros
Leadership in the sales organization is top notch. The group is driven and has high goals like any sales department, but it's complemented well with support from Talent Development and also cross-functional departments -- even (and especially) our executives. The First Advantage culture has seen a complete turnaround in the years I've been here. While I wouldn't have recommended First Advantage to any friends to work here just a few years ago (2015), my tune has changed. I'm so encouraged to see the changes to employee engagement and performance management in the last couple years... and we just keep improving. This is a company on a big upswing, and I'm happy to be a part of it. Regarding career trajectories here, I've seen many ambitious, positive, hard-working people move departments or get promoted. It's possible to move around or move up in many departments.
Cons
Several internal structural re-organizations have left people in some departments bitter, and that's difficult to overcome. While we've improved in volunteer efforts and community outreach, I'd like to see more of that.
