Pros

None or negligible compared to cons.

Cons

This is a dysfunctional company that makes practically no investment in employees. Most teams have extreme turnover. Tech I infrastructure is inferior to the comparison. Don’t be fooled by the advisory title; no one has evet heard of this company.

Pros

If you like to be busy and work hard, you might enjoy it.

Cons

The hard work and "busy" are extreme. In some locations they still have mandatory Saturdays. The culture is somewhat cut throat and it's all about billable hours. Alot of the managers really don't know how to lead or manage or hire the right people. During busy season you are expected to work 60-80 hours per week. For the non-client facing roles, it is even worse: you are also overworked and undervalued. These departments are barely even seen as part of the team or that they make a difference to the company. They are "overhead."

Pros

Seniors management (partners) are supportive and easy to engage with.

Cons

1. Salary 10-20% below market rate. If you can make it to the big 4, don't come here. 2. Flexible working hours and working from home only apply to managers and up 3. Junior staff always get picked on when the seniors or managers are not in good mood. 4. Lacking of leadership qualities from seniors up. The culture is 'do what you are told to do'. Most time you get criticised for small things and not credits for good things you have done. 5. Traditional dress code policies. Big 4 and other mid tier accounting firms in Australia have ditched strict dress code policies to no dress code policy. 6. Inadequate performance management. Review and feedback is subjective and lacking of structure. 7. Unclear talent management plan for junior staffs. Promotion is based on word of mouth from seniors or managers, not from KPI. 8. Out of date technology.
