Pros

The younger and junior members were lovely and happy to help

Cons

Very unprofessional management and senior team Often heard senior members talking very badly and gossiping about other team members and clients Junior members expected to do all the work whilst management spends most of the time on coffee breaks Very hostile environment, going into the office felt like going into an American high school film Very little holiday offered

Pros

Talented staff and good project opportunities.

Cons

Upper management keeps their distance. They do not associate with anyone. Promotions go to the "showy". Doing a good/great job is not enough. If they don't like you for whatever reason, they find a way to get rid of you in a very passive/ aggressive manner.

Pros

Good company culture. Flexible with hybrid / remote work. Interesting, and at times, game-changing projects. If performance is strong they do reward you with increased compensation, bonuses, career growth opportunities. Fast-paced, sometimes challenging work environment with opportunities to work with new people from different offices. Tight knit teams with strong sense of trust, open communication, and reliability.

Cons

Unpredictable industry with ups and downs parallel to current economic conditions. In good times expect to see bonuses, raises, new hiring. In tough times there may be layoffs, reduced pay, shorter hours. Some offices are a bit too COVID-cautious, and I wish they would eliminate the mask mandates, health check-ins, and tracking - all of which feels incongruent with the rest of society at large, and makes coming into the office at times a hassle for employees and clients alike.
