Toxic workplace

Pros

Free coffee, good office location near trains

Cons

Pigeon-holing into roles, salary is below AIA compensation report, and toxic workplace, frequent layoffs to start. I didn’t even realize how bad it was until I changed jobs. They say they are collaborative, but it is FAR from the truth- it is very competitive many seem to be looking for ways to throw their peers under the bus in order to make themselves look good. I feel like I need therapy after working there.

Pros

-Overall good workplace attitude and not hostile at all -2 bonuses a year -Many talented people to learn from -They will listen to your goals or wants, but there isn’t always action that follows

Cons

-Super corporate and fake personalities from upper leadership -Very few cool project opportunities. Lots of boring work for Bank of America and AT&T. -The few cool projects were always VE’d -If you’re a woman, one principal will ALWAYS look at your chest. He has been reported many times by multiple women and nothing has been done. -If you don’t work overtime you won’t move up -Deadlines are too fast -Employees siloed into certain work -Too much work and stress for not enough pay
