Pros

great office culture that promotes creative thinking; opportunity to pursue work in areas of your choosing; competitive benefits and compensation; approachable leadership; all around a great place to work- at the top of the industry

Cons

specific to office location- resources are not always allocated appropriately, there is a lot of talking and not enough action; internal communication is not a strong suit; you have to put in long hours before work/life balance becomes a reality (not necessarily a bad thing)

Pros

Large knowledge and expertise base for almost all practice areas, as the firm is so large. Can reach out to network of 5000 colleagues all across the globe.

Cons

The day to day projects can be sometimes mundane. Or, you get the opportunity to try inventive ideas that get killed by lack of client vision or inability to fully realise design idea due to overcompromised details at the construction level. Client base is often conservative and unprofessional.
