      Very good projects in Shanghai office

      Pros

      Always high end projects in Shanghai office, big client big team. You'll work with International consultants, and very good LDI( Local design institute) team, so you can learn a lot.

      Cons

      Lower salary than the U.S., but still have good benefit. Can be very intense and long working time. Different directors will lead the design to totally different directions. You need to find the right team.

      Pros

      Ther is an abundance of projects with brand name clients and some interesting smaller ones, as well as a wonderful network of talented people. From what I know, you are well rewarded for sticking around and getting vested, as it is an employee owned company. Also, paid overtime, though that seems to be becoming more standard at the largest architecture firms in NYC.

      Cons

      Sometimes we don't get credit for the work we do because we are a confidential Architect of Recors for a big-name starchitect who needs our manpower. Also, the turnover is higher than it probably could/should be, more specifically at the associate to lower management level, seemingly pointing to compensation.
