Pros

It has great employee culture. You will feel that you are respected. It is also a very well-known company with strong brand. They promote employees from inside which can be good and bad at the same time.

Cons

If you are not architect or designer, you are 2nd citizen at the company unless you are in the executive position.

Pros

Gensler has an elaborate company subculture of office events and online communities for those who want to partake of it. Opportunities to work on projects in distant locations are frequent.

Cons

Senior management in the Houston office is male-dominated; a glass ceiling appears to exist for women, gays, and minorities. Promotions are often made on the basis of how well one cultivates relationships with the managers rather than on the basis of skills and knowledge. Over-hiring in 2005-07 has recently resulted in rounds of layoffs.

Pros

Office location. Some people are actually nice and honest.

Cons

Worst management team. They choose the “yes” sayers to develop and promote them. If becoming one of them is your goal you’ll do ok. They also protect harassment - watch over your shoulder. Diversity and inclusion doesn’t mean diversity and inclusion.

Unfortunately, you did not share your office location so we're unable to forward your review to regional and office leadership.
