Pros

Benefits. Ability to travel. Able to relate to Dilbert.

Cons

Promotion not based on ability, but on relationships (much like the rest of the real world). The 'IBM' of the architecture world- ie. very corporate atmosphere. Much less creative and intellectual than most architecture firms. Gotta love your own cubicle.

Pros

Amazingly creative place with studio workers very collaborative and cooperative. Good benefits and challenging work.

Cons

In Firmwide in particular, a vey deep disrespect and contempt amongst the people for each other. A fairly high turn over as well. Communication and direction can often be lacking. Former employees often still spoken of badly. Processes can be very cumbersome. Bullying behavior is rampant.

Pros

Good compensation package; offices worldwide, and the variety and caliber of projects make for a stimulating work environment.

Cons

Company tends to overhire. And while compensation for overtime is fair, weekend work can quickly become the norm--managers' lack of planning can become your fire drill.
