Pros

Smart people, good worklife balance, opportunities to do things at scale

Cons

It takes a long time for people to be reassigned and projects to be canceled even when it's obvious they don't have institutional support. I spent a lot of time on projects that I knew had no business value, but I had to wait for some distant VP to decide to reallocate me before I could change what I was working on

Pros

“Great place for software engineers to grow and work on problems at massive scale. The engineering culture emphasizes code quality, design reviews, and strong technical discussions. You get the opportunity to work with talented engineers and learn modern distributed systems practices. Sometimes processes can feel slow due to the size of the organization, but overall it’s an excellent place to build impactful products

Cons

Working here as a software engineer has been a great experience. The scale of problems you get to work on is huge, and the internal tools and infrastructure are top-notch. Lots of smart people to learn from, though things can move a bit slowly because of the company’s size
