Not what it used to be

Pros

looks good on your resume. Large enough you're bound to find some like-minded people that are pretty easy to work with.

Cons

Ever since they opened the location in India they have been so focused on getting work sent there in order to save $$ that there seems to be no concern about the employee satisfaction. They work/home life balance no longer exists. Sending work to India works well sometimes but upper management doesn't concern themselves about that, they insist you send it no matter how well it may work. This sometimes requires extremely late hours to fix problems once returned from India in order to meet a deadline

Pros

- Management is very open and helpful. - Roundtables are fair; not cutthroat like some other firms I have been in. - FTO is great and reasonable, so long as you plan. - Good mix of large and medium sized clients. - Good work/life balance with management support. - Good benefits overall.

Cons

- Culture is changing, for the worse. - Often very reactive, not proactive. - Can become siloed if there is no one else in the office or if you are at the client site by yourself.

Pros

Flexibility of working from home, FTO basically unlimited as long as you get close to your utilization goals (but when PPMDs in forensics can’t sell any work that makes it tough!), my team members made it enjoyable, Pay is decent

Cons

PPMDs in forensics can’t sell work so no one meets goals and people get laid off, bonuses are low, raises are basically inflation if you aren’t up for promotion, no fun firm trainings EVER (and they wonder why people get to manager have can’t manage people, or no one knows how to do basic conflict checks, ACEAs, engagement letters etc.), they put no money into investing in people to learn their own jobs like big 4 does
