Greenpeace has an open business culture, easy to use information-sharing platforms and a transparant policy

Cons

Two main types of managers are working at Greenpeace. One's that promote status quo and old management practices and Ones that promote growth and self-fulfillment within their employees. I loved the second group and because of that the first saw me as a potential danger for their positions and fired me.

The people are very friendly and approachable. There is no seniority complex, and everyone is treated equally.

Cons

The only thing I learnt here was how to deal with rejection. Besides, work involves a lot of traveling if you are in the fund raising department.

Pros

If you can meet your quota early on, you can stand around and essentially do nothing (if that floats your boat). No dress code and very lax culture.

Cons

Long, unfulfilling days that make you feel like a slave. Encounter a lot of negativity from the public and are emotionally exhausted. On your feet all day. You get threatened, things thrown at you, and are generally in a position where you are disliked and looked upon as a mere solicitor of money. However, this description is for the position where you are sent into the field to raise funds and gather "sponsors".
