      A great place to work if you are with the right group

      Pros

      Not much of laid back attitude in general - it's very common with other companies of similar size. Good work-life balance. High preference to women folk. Work from home facility for several teams - it's not very common with companies in India yet. Senior Management initiatives & innovativeness are commendable.

      Cons

      If your salary is not too good or per industry figures, move out of HCL and rejoin for a better package. Some office facilities are not great. But the location of these facilities mask this con.

      1. good to learn in some projects 2. Work life balance is good as most projects are idle with less work 3. good for starting your career 4. Good company to have on your resume. By reputation

      Cons

      1. Politics is rampant especially in the Auto Group headed by Vivek. 2. People who lick the managers ass go places literally. 3. Onsite will happen if your ready to be a puppet to Vivek and co 4. No recognition. 5. Employee first ia all farce and just an eye wash. its actually managers and their appraisal first. 6.Advice to people who join the company, try to stay away from this group which is infested with managers like Vivek, tarini, harish 7. Try to get into the semi team which is headed by Mr. Murali ramamurthy
