Pros

I honestly don’t see many advantages. At best, leveraging the HCL name could serve as a stepping stone for other opportunities.

Cons

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. The HR team is lazy and unresponsive, often failing to reply to emails or address concerns. The managers are no better, showing little to no accountability. The hiring process is a nightmare—disorganized, lacking communication, and frustrating at every step. To make matters worse, once your project ends, they leave you with no options, effectively forcing you out of the company. This lack of job security and professionalism is alarming. I wouldn’t recommend working here to anyone.

Pros

- always paid on time, though heard from colleagues I ought to be auditing my paychecks as several have found pay being withheld - they don't get in the way of me doing my work

Cons

- I'm employed by HCL but work at the client site. Have had a few conversations with my HCL managers, but they don't to anything to support me or my work. It's frustrating to know they're taking a good chunk of the money the client is paying for me when they don't offer any actual value to me as the worker. I wasn't even recruited by them. I was transitioned from another contract. - their internal website is so slow and internal systems are pretty archaic, disjointed (i.e. one internal page lists my job description and title as something quite unrelated to my actual work) - max 2 weeks vacation - instead of giving pay increases, they give bonuses every 6 months which feels a lot like having money that I've earned held hostage unless I stick around.

Pros

No Pros. Don't know about other project in Hcl.

Cons

1. RM literally threatens to terminate even after working for 2 month 18 hours a day without week off. 2. Managers ask TL's threaten employees who joined through education program. They ask those guys to attend college in the day time and work for company in night shifts. 3. No appreciation / Not even single penny in terms of gifts or bonus. 4. They will confuse us with variable salary break up and payslips 5. Time sheet is a big mess. Every activity is accountable and need to mention what has been done for 9 hours daily. 6. You cannot enter more than 9 hours eventhough you work for 18 hours a day. 7. Work of 20 people need to be done by 5 people with in sla 8. If you go and complain for resource or any issues management will target you and they won't give release from the project also. 9. In prohibition period also notice period is 3 months. So in only 2 months around 60+ people absconded from HCL And lot more list will never end.
