      Solid high-level growth plan Good PTO and benefits 40 hour workweek on development teams

      Below-market salaries No clear career paths Antiquated telecommuting policy Many contractors Perks are decreasing No equity New technologies (e.g., AWS) are poorly documented with little training Claims to use Agile methodology, but increasingly deadlines come from above with no explanation

      Was a great company to work for until 2010. Not a female friendly organization. Slow moving, old school organization.

      Pros

      Was a great company to work for until 2010. Leadership was outstanding and provided equal opportunities for those willing to work hard. Leadership maintained a great collaborative environment until 2010. Post 2010 leadership changed and it turned into unfriendly organization for female employees. If you are a female employee expect to go no higher than a Manager. Female employees in lower ranks are well tolerated and even encouraged.

      Cons

      Non technical middle management (Director level employees and most managers). Very unfriendly to female employees with a strong technical background. Poor collaboration among employees towards the goal of team work. Poor practices in promoting meritocracy. Employees who demonstrate an ability to control others rather than encourage them to give their best are promoted into higher ranks. Very old school thought process revolving around control of employees to get the maximum contribution out of employees - a rather ineffective practice.

      Pros

      The people I work with are amazing. The PTO, 401K, medical benefits and work flexibility are great.

      Cons

      We are being paid below or at the minimum salary range even after a decade with the company. We rate people on a bell curve and not on what an employee really contributes. I don't know if Upper Management is disconnected from what is going on or if they just don't care, but things keep getting worse.
