Pros

Working at HFHWM was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career. The leadership team is flexible, supportive, and genuinely invested in your personal and professional development. I always felt empowered by my supervisors and encouraged to take on new challenges, which made it a fantastic environment for growth. The team culture is one of the best parts. It's collaborative, kind, and has a true family feel. People are deeply committed to the mission, and it shows in the way they care not just about the work, but about one another and the communities we serve. The generous PTO and understanding approach to work-life balance were also huge pluses. If you're looking for meaningful work, an encouraging team, and leaders who want to see you succeed, HFHWM is a great place to be.

Cons

The work can be emotionally taxing at times, especially when supporting families through difficult circumstances—but that’s just the nature of mission-driven work. It helps to have a supportive team around you, which HFHWM definitely provides.
