Pros

Meaningful work, mostly solid people.

Cons

Continuous string of acquiring software companies seems like dubious strategy - they aren't a software company and don;t know how to be one, at least not yet. Only time, and more layoffs, will tell if this can work.

Pros

very quiet you can focus on your work easily. There are lots of very nice people. There is a sport team that people can join.

Cons

People don't communicate much. I found it hard to make friends with my colleagues. I felt there was too much attention to paper work.

Pros

The company produces software, hardware and consumables for a very specific niche in the healthcare industry. For this reason they are relatively recession proof. The overall benefits are better than average and the facilities are very nice. Clients are very loyal and generally great to work with.

Cons

Work-Life balance is very heavy on the work side. For some departments, taking more than a few days off at a time is a hardship on co-workers. Not a lot of appreciation when super-human feats are accomplished. Strange politics between departments - not a lot of honest communication.
