Pros
Flexible hours as there is no work to be done. Everything has been outsourced to a consulting firm and you just sit back and just make sure they are doing their work from 6000 miles away. Talk about do nothing and getting paid well.
Cons
They keep everyone in dark and never invite you to meetings or introduce you to people since everyone is leaving the company. You can not survive a day without a contractors. I was asked to show up at 8am but no one was there.. Even though they were expecting me for two weeks my laptop was not ready on my arrival. No effort was made to introduce or give me any work, it was boaring to keep myself busy for 8hrs. Eventually i was asked to shadow a contractor to learn. I was not invited to a any meetings or introduced to anyone and yet they were expecting me to walk around and find people and ask for work. Off course the contractors didn't want me to know anything about their projects either so they kept me in dark. My meetings kept on getting cancel and postpone. Very hostile environment, no-one talk to anyone due to the fear to getting fired. 2/3 of the work force was fired before I arrived. Cafeteria was completely empty. Great place if you want to do nothing....
