Pros

company car and some good colleagues not all of them

Cons

Hilti used to be one of the best places to work, with low employee turnover and a positive work culture. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. The management team has seriously impacted the company in Australia.ASM seems more focused on impressing higher-ups than actually supporting their teams. Managers lack people skills, and empathy, and struggle with handling individuals with different personalities. Promotions are no longer based on merit or capability but on who you know in the company, leading to unfair advancement decisions. The sales managers often lack the necessary people skills, unable to handle constructive feedback and discourage employees from providing any feedback at all. If you do, you’ll likely be seen as a threat, with management looking for any excuse to push you out, even if you’ve hit all your KPIs. Your hard work and efforts go unappreciated, with favoritism towards certain individuals rather than a fair approach to everyone on the team. The company seems more focused on administrative tasks than actual sales, implementing daily KPIs to track if employees are "working." ASMs spend more time arguing with team members about operational standards that don’t align with their sales experience, rather than fostering a productive and supportive environment. Additionally, the company pressures customers to buy products they don’t need and places undue pressure on the sales team. Experienced employees are being pushed out through various excuses, all to boost the company’s survey scores. It’s truly disappointing to see how far the company has fallen.

Pros

The company is people-centric, multi-cultural and promotes it's values within regularly. It is also a well renowned brand throughout the construction industry.

Cons

New starters with no previous experience can come into the same position as you but on a higher salary, and then you will be expected to help in their training. Regular changes come to the bonus structure, and often it isn't until three months in they'll tell you what you're actually aiming for to earn it. The basic salary is touted as "benchmarked" across the industry, however there is no transparency on which figures are used to check this. If you don't achieve your KPI's throughout the year, you will receive no pay increase (except for April 2022, granted). This results in people being much worse off as inflation happens. If you hit your sales target one year and overachieve, the target for the next year will almost ensure you will not be able to overachieve again. There is an extremely high turnover of staff when it comes to account managers. You need to live in the right location (Manchester) to be able to progress up the career ladder.

Pros

Global Management policies for employees are too strong. But has limited control in India. Have more emphasis on training of their employees and aligning to company policies.

Cons

Current Indian management is not that competent to achieve the results and just trying to justify their salaries with more talk than action to higher management. No work-life balance(As it's just the sales org. in India, even salespeople are more bound to spend their time on laptops even after their working hrs.) Higher attrition rate(nearly more than 70% of employees are less than 1`-2 years). As you stay longer, there are fewer career opportunities for you outside as their market is too small and competition is less. HR in India is just a puppet of Sales management. They have no powers but to listen to them.
