Pros

1. majority of the employees are nice and helpful, many of them could be life long friends 2. good benefit 3. limited pressure and great work life balance 4. flexible working from home policy 5. global C levels are smart and great

Cons

1. slow professional progression compared with finance/tech/consulting but this is expected - Hilti is in construction industry. 2. want "Hilti" way, but not respect individual difference and uniqueness - could be improved 3. top down approach from headquarter and local market has to follow the universal approach with little flexibility - hard to change because of premium brand positioning 4. average compensation - hard to change because of industry 5. central Europe has okay culture but the culture could be very different in other places, I saw some people publicly bad mouth others for years - can be improved.

Pros

Hilti Brand is well recognised

Cons

Terrible company to work for with employees threatened with performance improvement plans after 3 months. Very arrogant management team that don't care about high levels of staff turnover. Not a nice place to work. Avoid at all costs. Account managers are pushed very hard with nothing quite good enough to satisfy

Pros

- great work-life balance - healthy working environment and friendly colleagues - great chances to build international career

Cons

- all decisions are made in HQ in Lichtenstein. All you can do on a country level is just implement global initiatives without questioning or challenging global decisions. Also even small and insignificant changes can take ridiculous amount of time to approve and implement. You can keep all your great ideas to yourself, nobody will bother to do anything unless they get directions from HQ. - Hilti doesn't acknowledge its mistakes and failures. You can only say how great everything is. -> lots of outdated and redundant processes and inefficiency. - Top-management is absolutely detached from reality. - Lack of ambitious and bright people. 95% of employees go to work to get their salary and be home by 5:30pm. If you strive to learn, create and innovate, this is not a right place for you. - It's a cult. You can't complain, say anything negative, even if you objectively mention some imperfections and inefficiencies. You might the most talented specialist in the whole world, but if you ever say anything negative, like "I don't think this will work, maybe we should reconsider this and that" your career is over.
