Cons

Blame culture is rife. Top down management culture will ensure that if this is your first experience in hospitality it may well be your last. Long shifts on your feet for NMW or a few pence above but the very worst thing is .. No thanks. You will feel taken advantage of. There are serious attitude problems within my hotel management

work from home as an online reservationist. Work schedule is great and many hours. You can ask for more hours.

Cons

low hourly wage, but overall a great company to work for and easy job. Stay at home moms would be perfect for this job.

A lot of autonomy. Definitely have opportunity to make the best of the opportunity you are given. Typical Corporate world, but have to make your own path if you can. If you like hospitality, this is the type of environment you'd like to be a part of.

Cons

Bosses are very much on top of you if they are insecure about themselves and their own performance. You have to be with the in crowd in order to move up. If you are not, you will become stagnant in whatever it is you may be doing.
