Pros

Mostly great people Travel benefits Lots of vacation time

Cons

-The "culture" is outwardly great and fun, but inwardly phony, phony, phony....the longer you stay there, the harder it is to swallow. - It was sickening to me how much the company sucks up to the interns and fetes them like celebrities. They are treated far better than the rest of the employees are. Ugh. And they're so young and naive, they just eat it all up and walk around with starry eyes. So just beware if you intern there, that it will not always be like that. It's an act. You'll really miss that VIP treatment once you become a real employee.

Pros

-Great job especially for hospitality right out of college. -Plethora of benefits (401k, team member travel, starting 21 days of PTO, 1 work from home day a week) -Multiple resources at your disposal -Office culture is good for a big company. Everyone is very friendly and upper management is very approachable -Opportunities for advancement go beyond just revenue management

Cons

Office preaches for work/life balance but with 15 properties in a portfolio you typically need to work more than 40 hours a week to maintain performance especially when initiatives are due. Work is tedious and repetitive so it can be easy to burn out. Compensation is below par for relative revenue management positions. Also, yearly merit increases are minimal and do not reflect performance. Seniority and hard work usually lands you a harder portfolio with declining properties/difficult management teams with no compensation.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback. We acknowledge that Team Members have responsibilities outside of work so we do what we can to help them manage these multiple demands knowing work life balance is very important. Having leaders hear what's working and what's not working at Hilton helps us make changes for the better, which can ultimately impact the guest experience in a positive way. If you would like any further assistance in addressing these concerns, please reach out to your HR team or direct manager.
