      A nose diver in the short term

      Pros

      Large Company (LafargeHolcim) benefits. Driver gets to be left alone most of the time.

      Cons

      Poor management - drivers not rewarded in any way. They always recognize the bad, never recognize the good work. As with anywhere, some people can get on the inside track with managers. Low hours in winter, too much work in summer.

      Pros

      Under the right management, Lafarge was a great company that assisted their employees in growing into their role and as people. The projects were interesting and taught employees a lot on the business processes as well as IT standards.

      Cons

      The Holcim merger will hopefully provide as good management and interesting projects considering their lack of use of technology.
